I passed on the 1/3 Captain America, passed on the absolutely glorious 1/3 Thor, and other 1/3 Batman sculpts....but I'm going for this one. This could be the one to make me stop for a while.

Looks good, it really does. But this piece does absolutely nothing for me.

i just think something like this is bound to be out-done by the next piece that has more "OMG WTF WOW" factor. The art means nothing to me so that could be a BIG reason why i'm not crazy over it.
but if you guys like the art and it's near and dear to you...i can understand the love.

Meanwhile the Jim Lee HUSH art . . . that's another story

I love it, but it's too tall, too wide, and too deep!

My display is 24" shelves. The Fabok Wonder Woman is 18" deep so no issue. This piece would have 4 inches of over hang!

Yeah, I hear you. The change out symbol did have an impact on me though. It's definitely overall a very cool modern/black costume Batman, but I don't feel overly compelled as of now.

Size/Dimensions will never be a factor to me either; I'll always have a relatively low # of statues so if there's a statue I really want, I'll be able to make it work. But I understand the people who fill rooms full of statues/collectibles not being able to find room for 1 or 2 big ones. Just not who I'll ever be as a collector though.

It's not like the actual BASE is 28" anyway.....look at the side view. Between the smoke at the front and the cape at the back there's probably close to 6". The actual base that sits on a shelf/stand is probably somewhere around 22'ish.

Gotta say I am a bit worried about the cape getting to me with no breakage.

I'm glad I outgrew superheroes because this one ticks all the check boxes for what the proper Batman should be, but then what? I'll never settle on one Batman, wanting a less boring one from the next contrived reboot.

Yeah I agree, it definitely looks like a delicate piece.

You "outgrew" superheroes but not Transformers?
