Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

On the smaller side of the 1/1 scale possibilities, I'd even like to see a Compy from The Lost World.

Those puppets were pretty effective little animatronics..

In terms of prop replicas a 'working' tracking device mounted in a hunk of dino flesh would make for a very cool prop.

True as that may be, you're forgetting the ridiculous amount of import taxes it will cost if we can't order this locally.

Besides, what if something goes wrong and the piece has defects? I don't dare imagine what it would cost to ship this back to the US, especially after already having paid a lot more just because we live in the wrong part of the world... There's no such risk when ordering locally.

Now don't get me wrong, I appreciate the effort Chronicle is taking into making these great pieces, and all the worries and logistics it involves. But I can't help feeling that every time something truly fantastic comes along, us foreigners get screwed

I'm certainly not forgetting, I'm only about 100 miles away from you so I understand your pain I was just pointing out that it makes no difference if these are made in China or the USA. Aside from the quality which would presumably be higher if it were made in the USA. We will be hard done by with shipping and customs charges etc either way.

Why wouldn't you offer it to the international distributors?Because it is made in the US and Chronicle doesn't want to deal with the logistics in this case?I bet Chronicle would sell a lot more, even if these are made-to-order pieces.
If a big item is produced in China like the Anubis helmet then it's no problem apparently.Me and Wingdsoldier have both an Anubis helmet on order at our LCS here in the EU and we both would order a 1/5 T-Rex aswell if we can purchase it locally.
A direct order is out of the question due to shipping cost, taxes & customs...it would cost a fortune.A bit more consideration for non-US customers would be more than welcome!
I've purchased the ED-209 puppet last year directly when the euro was still strong and at the special price of $999.But these times are gone now and buying local is the only option from now on,for most of us...

If I offer it to distributors I need to have a wholesale price. On pieces made in the states I can't offer wholesale. We pay a higher price for the product and don't have a mark up that would allow wholesale.

If it's made in that states, shipped to a Wholesaler and then marked up, you are going to pay a whole lot more for that product guaranteed.

I've already had to have words with a few distributors charging higher prices for Cain and ED than the import fees and costs.

We've looked at what our distributors charge and in most cases it's cheaper to but it from us with the exchange rates and pay the import fees.
