I am on the wait list for the sculpted cape but i really prefer the fabric cape. That's strange for me because I usually don't like mixed media on statues but for some reason I prefer the cloth cape. Only negative is the cloth cape looks like it will be giant edition size.

On the other hand that might mean the cloth cape version could be had for less than retail some time after release.

I think the rotating base on the cloth cape is gonna prove to be a great feature for most. It's what really sold me on that version.
This is a HUGE piece. And I think in-hand, it's gonna be even bigger and harder to display than people anticipate, which is usually the case with big pieces. So I think the versatility with the cloth cape + the rotating base is going to prove popular when this is in-hand. I'm not talking about edition sizes or after-market value or any of that, just the practicality of owning and displaying the piece.

Thanks for your pictures on all the statues, they’re excellent.
I have a hard time imagining there being a better Superman than this one. It’s really just perfection.

I think they know they have a hit and want to maximize sales. On the other hand, Batman Hush has been reworked probably because of slower sales and over saturation of other Batman pieces at this scale.
Missing out on Batman Hush is what some have to decide on. If anything only because it's the companion piece to this perfect Superman.

Really cool pictures. Glad I bought the sculpted cape since it sold out ASAP. While the fabric is still available people should jump on it because it’s just an amazing piece. Also pumped about the Hush Batman since I Po’ed it the first day it went up.

This statue is going to blow people away when they get it in-hand. I've been waiting for a Superman statue like this for a long time. I splurged and bought both versions since I had enough reward points saved with Sideshow to get the sculpted version for free. I plan on displaying one in my house and one in my office at work.
