Not sure I understand all the poor reviews on this one. Cast was great as was the acting. I found the story to be interesting and thought it moved along nicely. Action was decent enough. What can I say, I liked it.

I liked it a lot as well. My only complaint is some of the accents were pretty thick so i got lost in a few places. But it fell into place by the end.

6.5/10
All through watching this one I was thinking, who's dumber, the people IN this movie or me for getting sucked in yet again. It was just the same old stuff.
BUT the third act totally surprised me, and it really saved the movie, despite one HUGE plot hole. That said, I felt entertained by the end and enjoyed what the Directors of Catfish have done here

My money's on the people in the movie.
I saw this one in the theater, the other two on Netflix; I'm not sure that played a factor at all, but I probably enjoyed this one the most, plot discrepancy or not (I'm sure it's the same complaint everyone's had so far, but it's a big one.. ).
By FAR, though, if I recall correctly, I don't think there's a guy in San Diego that has less common sense than the male lead in the first film.

I watched this again on TV last night. I'm sure I reviewed it before and was generous with my score. But I've been watching the old cartoon and movie in recent days. Rise of Cobra truly is a piece of crap. Baroness and Scarlett are the best thing in the movie. But they could be a lot better in the right movie. The Dubble Bubble reference was cool as I still chew it on occasion. But I still can't believe they had the nerve to give Baroness (and Cobra Commander) a twist storyline. I'm sure Sienna Miller could do the Baroness voice if asked. I can't believe Scarlett didn't fight Baroness again after the fight in The Pit. I have no doubt that the sequel will suck.

You definitely can't compare this to anything else "G.I. Joe" reading many different comic book series through different publishers, I see this as just that a different take on G.I. Joe, I do not love it, but after a few times it has grown on me, and enjoy it from time to time. Sure there are many things that annoy the crap out of me, but seeing a live action Joe movie was awesome no matter how bad it was. I hope the second one doesn't suck, luckily the director is actually a fan of the book and knows alot of the backsotry, he was dealt an unfortune hand that he has to continue after ROC instead of just revamping it. But so far alot of it looks good, Firefly is in it, CC looks awesome, Duke may not be around for the whole film...I will definetly be seeing it on opening weekend.
