The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

With the reference provide by Universal I think that Steve really mailed it. The stripes on here nose, while there are not as pronounced there are only three not four like the repaint. I think the photos we took are actually warmer than the model itself.

We're not changing a thing as we and Universal think it's pretty awesome.

So if you want the rarest 1:5 T-rex casting painted and assembled, look no further.

Completely agree! IMO the focus is on the T-Rex head and all the fabulous details! The yellow colour scheme in the back will make the piece too busy and appear tacky. The current paint up looks superb.

I commented that it could be the photography and lighting making the paint seem off. Shooting under white and bright light is a bit difficult.

So you are saying that the true colors are closer to the black background and blue light tint? If so, I can live with that!

The sculpt is wonderful, no complaints there Paul.

Thank you.

All of the credit for this head goes to four people.

Stan Winston for creating it.

Jonathan Chu for buying it at auction and loaning it to us to mold.

Kristina Francis for attaching the inner pallets, cheeks and removing the lower jaw.

Patrick Dowdakin (spazzy) for the clean up and scale mending.

This piece took a while due to the fact that the original casting needed a ton of work.

We are expecting this piece to exceed the male and I'm excited to see some of the products rolling out of Toynamis' state of the art factory.

The bust is impressive, but I do not like how you have made the stand, it seems the same as the male. The male has sense that it is torn and old, because that was the logo of The Lost World, giving the image of abandoned, but the Jurassic Park was clean, clear and well painted and thus should be the stand of the female. I hope you get it right.
