Interstellar 9/10
So I finally watched "Interstellar" which has been recommended to me by several of my friends. Really good movie but just a couple casual observations.
1. When explaining how bending time and space using a piece of paper marking two points with a pencil and then folding the paper until the points are together and sticking the pencil through the paper? They totally ripped that off from the Sam Neil character in "Event Horizon"
2. I wouldn't want to play a drinking game where you have to take a drink everytime McConahaugh says "Murph". Even if just drinking beer you would be dead of acute alcohol poisoning in about a half an hour.
3. Don't want to spoil anything but when my son asked me where Cooper was toward the end of the movie I got to say "in a tesseract". I never thought I would ever have an opportunity to say "tesseract" once I got out of college.

The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2015) - As the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel has only a single remaining vacancy - posing a rooming predicament for two fresh arrivals - Sonny pursues his expansionist dream of opening a second hotel.
It looks beautiful. The story is just okay. If you like the first movie then this one won't disappoint you. 6/10

National Treasure (2004) ~ 2/5
Found myself rather bored of it throughout and never truly enjoyed Nicolas Cage's role at any point of the movie.

Braveheart - 10/10
A timeless classic and Gibson's best all around effort.

Furious 7 - 7/10
On par with the rest of the series. You pretty much know what you're getting with these films and you either roll with them and have fun or you don't. I do think that they've reached a point where the base narrative needs to shift. Seeing as how Lucas Black's character is returning for two more sequels I'd like to see the franchise return to it's roots somewhat and get away from the heavy over the top action set pieces. This might mean retiring most of the current cast but I think it might be time given Walker's passing.
