"Children of the Atom" The end of the X-Men name?

I wouldn't have said outrage, at least, not on my part. Since reading about the comments from Marvel producer Victoria Alonso I've simply been curious what name they may come up with. Children of the Atom has been part of the X-Men series since the beginning and is, IMO, as good a choice as any.

Did anybody else read the article that Rogue May be shown in the next Captain Marvel movie? Rumor is she will be a member of a mutant terrorist group.

Sounds like a perfect introduction to me and close to comic accuracy. Bring on my mutants

They may and I hope for the same, but to be fair, that’s where we saw Rogue first.

It also gives them an excuse to depower Carol who they ridiculously made near omega level from the start. She needs to be humbled.

From there I am sure XMen will be separate and minding their own business. I have faith in Feige.

What I will be annoyed about is if they put Storm in Black Panther realm and emphasize that more than her being an XMan.

That would annoy me as well. I much prefer Storm as part of the X-Men's world myself.
