Didn't they do this same thing with Elektra when people were praising her? I knew she would be back in stock so I wasn't freaking out.

It seems to be a regular occurrence going at least as far back as the first Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman PFs. They clearly made too many of those and I think they started using this tactic to push them out the door.

Ya its pretty freaking lame, like they should say "instock is low, but last batch is on the way"
But i get that they don't want to probably post the exact numbers for people further delaying until sales or some other reason.

This thread is all about the psychology of buying. I need it because someday, somehow, maybe now, someone is going to tell me I just can't have it. And you want it, so I want it. It's only a few bux a month..... 
Can't blame Sideshow for managing public inventory levels for the good of the sale.

Yep...effective for me....placed myself on the waitlist day 1.....thought i would be getting somebody elses garbage if i wait too long....but then the next day the WL converted....
Nice effective tactic there....
