Arrow Rogue One: A Star Wars Story - SPOILER Thread

Post your reviews and spoilers here.

I thought the CGI Peter Cushing Grand Moff Tarkin was excellent. Princess Leia not quite as good but not bad.

Yes I agree but I Also think that it might be because we were not given the chance to grow custom to her Face as we only saw it for a second..

Man I really loved This Movie 4.5/ 5

it was full or references to part IV and it had Good action and funny moments, the Android K being the funniest in the Movie! The scene with the Slap was awesome! I loved the ending and Vaders show of true Sith power... Impresive and the scenes of destruction from the Deathstar were nothing but Amazing!

I hated the first hour. It was boring and the characters were really bad. The robot and main girl were the only interesting ones. There was no drama or suspense at all. Luckily the last 45 minutes was great and felt like Star Wars. The last 10 minutes is exactly what I wanted from the prequels. Vader! What an incredible way to end the movie.

The CG looked fine to me too. Not perfect but a very nice surprise!

A real gift to fans of the original trilogy, especially so if you felt let down by all the things that have come since.
It starts slow burn and builds to moments of great emotional impact.
Very happy with this film.

You will never take the events described in the opening crawl of SW77 for granted again.

The CGI Grand Moff Tarking was okay, but pales in comparison to the real Grand Moff Tarkin played by Peter Cushing.

CGI Leia was a bit better because she had a very minor role in the movie, it's better to let CGI characters of this magnitute have small roles it makes the CGI more believable.

I would not say the first hour of the movie was boring, just slow paced but still entertaining.

I was pretty bored most of the movie as well to be honest. The last half hour made up for it somewhat but I was definitely expecting more from all the hype.

K-2SO wasn't nearly as entertaining as I had hoped. I'm not even sure I would be able to get through this movie again.
I didn't feel any emotion when everyone died. There was a real disconnect to the characters for me. It felt a bit 'forced'.

I'll fast forward to the Vader parts.

CGI Leia was horrible, for one shot I was hoping for a very nice CGI. But Tarkin okish.

It's very hard to do a real CG character .. We spend months on just Arnold in Genesys to turn only 8 shots high quality. But Tarkin had so much shots that it's hard to not see the CG in it

Is it me or Vader shoulder pads was off? He feels very fat lol But his fight was so great!

Has a fan some element to stay the way to put it in the original trilogy:
K-2S0 was funny but I find him to humanize versus C-3P0

ALso I found that the SHore troper or the Hovertank trooper were underuse.
