Hi,
Just discovered PrototypeZ.

One of the reasons i didnt preorder Ryu was because he came in 2 pieces cut at the torso.

Will they all be like this?
I very much prefer a single mould and not one you have to put together.

Hi majestic, yes the Ryu will come with two separate switch out torsos. One will be regular Ryu, while the other will be battle damaged. This two different torsos were just for diffrent display options for people, Also you can take each torso and put it on a bust that it comes with, so if you only want to use one torso to display the statue completely together you can, while the other you can put on the bust, essentially you are getting two statues in one.

Erick's big idea was to give you as many different display options as possible.

Moving forward past Ryu, I'm sure Erick is looking to continue this separate torso/ diffrent variations of said character, time will tell if the fans prefer this option.

It's on the belt line anyway, so it's not really something you will notice.

Much less anyway than say alternate head portraits with PCS.

From experience, a statue loses its appeal when it is cut in half.

Even though its for positive reasons such as more displaying options.
I would prefer a whole cast and one display option over a half cast with multiple displays.
But thats just me.

No problem, we understand and respect your opinion. We hope in the future you will be able to see that this option only makes the product more attractive as it allows you to have different options for Ryu.

We are working on approvals but trust me that will not take too long, then we move on to printing.

I've been away for a while. Does Prototypez not sell kits anymore? I went on the website for the first time in a long time and didn't see them anywhere. What gives?
