Like I said in the other forum ...I'm a fan of the classic TFs, but I'll be concentrating on Marvel statues now that the X-Men are probably back on. And the occasional DC and Top Cow statues ...can't forget those guys.

I have been collecting Transformers for years.
The Takara Masterpiece line gives me a G1 represention along with articulated engineering. I love the combination of both of those ideas.
I don't own any Transformers statues. The closest to a Transformers statue I own is from a company called Action Toys they made the Ultimetal Optimus prime with a concept of being a 20" tall articulated non transforming Licensed Transformer.
He is awesome made of Die cast and has removable armor to disclose the inner workings of a robot showing Pistons that move as part of the articulation. To top it off He also has a voice chip with the real Peter Cullen voice embedded . I paid 1000USD for him but well worth it.
Will I buy into a line of statues being a hard core life long Transformer fan? , not sure but I'm interested to see what XM can bring to the table.

Maybe this would be XM's first deluxe statue. 60" in height....but there is an easier and more cost effective way to do this. I know how.

IA is doing wonders with the g1 proton right now. I want to see xm top it! The poses and switch out for IA is outta this world. Will be interesting to see what xm can do. Hope it's g1 accurate. I want a set of dinbots, rodimus, Optimus, megaton, jet fire with a g1 box art switch out head.. Etc... Don't need two of each character so whoever does a better one will get my business. Will these be a WW license?

I wonder why there hasn't been much of a 1:4 GI Joe line.
That's my train of thought when I hear Transformers...it's all about my childhood cartoons.
Lord, I wonder if there is a mark for 1:4 BTAS....I would be so screwed if Bruce Timm those statues came any bigger.
