You are correct good sir. I loved the Lost Children arc. It really showed his savage side. With glimpses of his compassionate side. Truly a crazy, brilliant story

With Guyver and Evangelion, I was not expecting that this would be the first to go up for preorder. I just hope it´s a while until they release the next characters. I´m getting very hyped for this, the more I look at, the more I like him.

Probably will go on the wait list. F4F looks to be action pose line and Prime 1 museum pose line.

Ahh you are right I remember.. It was a great fight, with a great background story.
I kinda miss the old Berserk, now it's just "Guts and his crew going the island"...

Liking this more too, especially sword down. Never cared much for sword on shoulder, despite it being a common Guts pose.

I still think action poses suit Guts better, but this is so large and detailed, it will be hard to pass up. Of course the price, and Eva soon, may prevent me.

A bit late but the original anime for sure for Susumu Hirasawa alone! Just know that the first episode is nothing like the rest of the series (till the very end).
When I saw the first ep I thought this was some mindless barbarian boring crap and then it switched to the Golden Age and I was hooked (in no small part because of the music).

The manga is great of course and it's the source material so it's a must.

The movie remakes of the series are good with some caveats. The CGI can be a bit hit or miss especially with people's faces and it basically goes like this:
1st movie is the worst because it is the one with most quiet character development scenes and the flaws fo the CGI and lack of Susumu Hirasawa shows a lot more in this one.
The second movie is alright because it's a lot more military wars and the CGI fares better there and the new music fits better.
The 3rd movie I'd argue is even better than the series because (iirc) it's more complete than the series except once again for the lack of Hirasawa.

The second recent series has an animation style that's not to everyone's liking but I don't mind it too much and it's finally(!!) new material that hasn't been before so no matter what it's a must.
And they got ONE track from Hirasawa for it that so instantly makes the scenes better they replay it all the time in following episodes, if that tells you anything.
