I would have bought it if not for the loose skin.
My only problem with Prime's take is it's a pretty lackluster moment in the movie. I'm kind of surprised they didn't go for the final scene rex was in, either at the very end of her roaring or just before when fighting the raptors. I really think they just wanted to do a scene where they could use the fence and put that 10k volts sign on it...

CC are doing the Rotunda Rex so hopefully that will be an awesome piece, I think this scene has been swamped now need something different

Prime1 is doing last scene as Shoo mentioned will be bigger 1/10 scale size and will expensive. This Trex is more affordable for poeple who just want to have an Trex in they collection and a good size to display anywhere they want.

The IS one is great with the car and the pose, but I'd honestly go with P1. Their Rexy looks better IMO and that's the most important part. I find the neutral pose to be really nice.
In my mind I've created a hypothetical scene based on P1's, where after the 1993 incident Rexy goes walking past her paddock, checking out her new territory.

Well I assumed that in the future they may well go for those scenes because of a tremendous amount of JP product they are dishing out but I didn't mention it because I didn't think they would announce it any time soon, wow lol. I guess I hung around the CC forums too much and got spoiled by the constant presence of CC at the time, and SS too was never very forthcoming about future productions within the same franchises. They were always very anti talking about future products that would harm current product sales. The rex/raptors scene is a very Prime 1 thing to do imo because, as I said, the tremendous amount of product they are putting out.
Note to self: Save some damn money for that, please. At 1:10 scale it will be legendary and costly.

I don’t have the room right now so will probably go for the 1/10 scale on that is coming up. Plus I’m going to wait on Chronicle pieces since both of their Rex pieces have the dots....not a fan. Hopefully they get it right soon.

I really like everyone's input on this statue as well as the other high end pieces from other companies. I also love that Julien Romeo has joined in the conversation. What a nice treat.
Here is how I rank all 3 full body Jurassic T-rex statues:
1. Prime 1 Rex - This is the best T-rex statue I have seen to date and I will definitely be buying this. The pose is perfect and shows off the gorgeous profile of Rexy (I'm glad they went with a neutral walking pose) The paint is spectacular as well in normal lighting (the lights at the convention were too bright). The details are very well done as well. The base, background and goat are a huge bonus. I am very excited about this statue.
2. Chronicle Breakout Rex (picture attached) - I personally own this one and I love the statue. The pose is very dynamic and works well. The detail on the sculpt is very nice but the paint job is not quite what I expected. From a distance it looks great but close up, there are too many harsh dots on the face. I may repaint this one day.
3. IS Rex Dio - I really want to love this diorama. First off, the size is impressive and the vehicles are amazing. The people look a little off to me. The rex is the make or break selling point for me. Her face is great and she looks great from every angle except for the side she is to be displayed at. The loose skin on the legs, belly and tail are not flattering. Since the tail is curled, it makes her look to short. Also, her right leg looks to stiff and unnatural. I will not be buying this one but it is still a great piece.
