I like the red/brown look of alien, but the color palette of the base and especially the facehuggers is wierd. Why primer-like grey as a weathering on facehugger? These colors can be seen on the promo pictures.
And why a molten back of his second head?
Just an ugly choice.

A figure with some battledamage bcs he had a fight, Nice. But this alienhead is dead and decayed. Maybe glue it to the base as a dead one.

Don't like the overall look of the coolprops warrior either (base being main reason) and with the announcement of this xm, I though yes its more expensive but can be super good in design. But seeing it in vid with full light, its not for me. The previous XM Alien was far better.
At this point, I like the Prime1 warrior with one egg the most (if paintjob doesn't change at release).

Were they going for an acid corrosion effect on the sides of the smooth head? That makes no sense, but I guess it looks cool.

I assumed it was just damage and it just has a bunch of it's acidic blood underneath there cause that's what's in his body.

The damage looks like acid corrosion though. Which is bizarre because the aliens are immune to their blood's effect.
