Ok, I finally caved in and ordered the sculpted hair version. Such an iconic pose AND to me the face sculpt is the best Ledger so far. Was thinking about the JND but for almost $1800 more seems silly. I also don’t think the rooted QS version is worth $800 more but it is beautiful and I can see why fans ordered it!

Would be cool if they gave the artist edition some type of extra museum looking base (with no nameplate) to further separate it from the original release.

Yeah, I’m less than thrilled with the base. Not sure why they always have to slap a logo on everything. At the very least, make it magnetic and easily removable.

I wonder if that's contractual, because there's no way they can't have heard the chorus of collector's expressing disappointment with that aspect...consistently.

And they seem responsive to criticism with other things, yet they keep doing that.

And yeah, a magnetized plate would absolutely be the way to go.

I just pulled the trigger, via Spec Fiction Shop
This piece has been on my mind since it was first revealed. The real-hair crazy (high) price version was not an option. To some degree, i prefer sculpted hair. I think the Queen Studio likeness is the best i have seen, better than both the Prime 1 and JND pieces.

Fingers crossed, the factory delivers. Joker will represent my 1st piece from Queen Studios. I like to own pieces from different companies.
For the record. I will hang on to my Sideshow Collectibles Heath Ledger Joker 1/4 EX PF

LOADING: Image(s)

Special Features
As a bonus, both the Special Edition 1/4 Joker and the Regular Edition come with two switch-out hands and miniature playing
cards. These hands allow you to recreate two iconic moments from the movie. One with the IED and trip wire, and the other
with The Joker presenting a playing card.

I guess the rooted hair version isn’t there?

This new pic doesn’t look nearly as good as the prior pic. That one looks like a screen grab of Ledger. This one looks like a miniature statue. Hoping it’s lighting and angle.
