Except for the battle damage, the Prototype was painted like that.

But for being a ‘Sideshow Maquette’ the Mark 3 production piece didn’t turn out as badly as I feared it could have.

If you took away the shoulder parts, you'd still have a great looking bust, and would shave off a fraction of the price.

That said, i still prefer the OG mk3 Bust

It was insane. I’m insane for still having it, but I had a custom acrylic box made up for it, and those things aren’t cheap either.
Are you able to take a snap of how you display the mark 42 in the acrylic box? Thinking of getting a glass box made up for my Captain America life size bust and would love some inspiration!

Not a fan of full shoulders on a bust. The original bust looks much cleaner IMO.

Actually that was what I loved at the time about the Mark 42 bust over those that had preceded it. Imo the shoulder sections added so much to it. If only the production piece had met it’s potential.

I’m afraid I no longer have the bust in that display anymore. So I can’t take a direct photo.

Here you can see part of it on the right.

And here I’ve got some 1/6 scales in that same display.

The box dimensions were 700mm wide, 700mm high, by 450mm deep. I used those measurements because that was the limit that I had at the time. I should’ve used a bigger box but getting something to just fit was more important at the time.

They could easily make a battle damaged variant later on with a low es.

This look great I wasn't in the game when those other ironman busts came out so I definitely want this and I hope they do a new war machine bust after this.

Preorders starts Thursday April 4th, so we should know the pricing around Tuesday April 2nd.
