So it seems this will be available for PO on May 1st for $1200 and goes to July 1st. Will they close the PO early if there are too many orders?

Their website says they will be MTO - so does that mean they will not sell out? Is there still a point to pre-ordering then?

Also they mention delivery date is Q4-1 2020

What does Q4-1 mean exactly?

And do they do payment plans?

Where did you see this?

Never mind, I see it. They just haven’t updated the date at the top of their PO info page.

MTO means they will only make however many PO’s they get. I wonder if SpecFiction will be carrying this. If you live in the US you most likely won't be able to order it on XM's site but maybe since it’s 1/3? Guess we’ll see soon.

I’m going to guess the release window actually means Q4 2020 - Q1 2021. Highly doubt it's coming out anytime soon since it's not even up for order.

I'm really interested to see more pictures of the finished product on this one; I'm pretty tempted to sell the Sentinel of Liberty Cap to get this plus I imagine I'd get the Thor to go with it. In like 3 years lol. Damn this hobby.

I really doubt it would go up for order in May and be released at the end of this year/early 2020. Q4 2020 - Q1 2021 seems the logical answer.

Is this XM's first 1/3 piece?

I’m interested to see if they made any modifications to the piece. It looked a little off in the first shots. That Iron Studios 1/4 movie Cap looks pretty good so far. Don’t think I can get a 1/3 and a 1/4 Cap.

Yeah I think the paint job needed a bit of a touch up from when it was first revealed. I liked it overall but there was something about the paint job that I was hoping could be improved a bit. The switch outs as first shown were interesting too, I wonder if all of those will actually happen.

The IS Cap looks fine and all, but movie statues are just never an option for me. If I were to get this one, I'll sell the Sentinel of Liberty version I have now. Just need to see final pics/price. I get the feeling I'm probably going to bite if it's within a decent range though because the thought of a good 1/3 Classic Cap and Thor next to each other is probably going to be too hard to resist.

Hmm well I guess I have to get in on the pre-order then.

Does XM do down payment + monthly payments? But XM doesn't allow US orders?

I know Specfiction usually does some type of payment plan option, which is nice. So I'll have to keep an eye on them too. Are they the official US distributor or something?

I'm 100% sold on this and can't wait for a museum 1/3 Cap! We need an Ironman 1/3 too

I think we're just going to have to see what the options are on the XM site come May 1st.

While there have been very, very few (if any even, I don't know the full history) statues that you could order straight from XM and have them shipped to the US, I just don't know if this one will be different since it's a 1/3 scale Marvel statue and to my knowledge there are no other companies that make 1/3 Marvel stuff. So MAYBE XM has a US license for it? I'm not assuming that's the case, but I just don't know the situation.

If it's not available on their site, then SpecFiction will be the most likely way to go. Just have to see what the options are on May 1st.
