This show reminds me of an old Eddie Murphy Poltergeist joke about what different families do when they hear a voice in a house. The wife is now the voice of reason. We'll see what happens next episode. As it seems that the wife and daughter are the only ones playing with a full deck of cards...

2nd episode wasn't as crazy... you think they went super over the top for the pilot to get the networks hooked? Dillon McDermott is all kinds of screwed... 
SPOILERS
Anyone else think they ripped off The Strangers in this 2nd episode? It's starting to look like the ghosts in the basement really only punish the malicious or ill-willed people. So far at least...

I think, there's a mutant child living in the basement, the girl with Down's can be seen tossing a small ball at it... and you can see how the ball is tossed back... plus her mom ( Jessica Lange) told the pregnant lady ( Vivien Harmon) how ( Lange) her womb was cursed after Vivien asks if she had more kids....
Also, there's an onbvious connection between the maid, the psycho/creepy patient kid, and Jessica Lange.... to the point they clean up the "mess" -brought upon the Harmon home by the crazy blonde girl that happens to be Peter Parker's land Lord's daughter - ( spiderman 2) together...

I think creepy patient kid is one of Jessica Lange's other kids. The one she wouldn't discuss when the mom asked her about her other kids.

I enjoyed the first 2 episodes, but the storyline with the daughter seems really forced. Nobody understands her, gets in fights at school, smokes, cuts herself, is interested in dad's bad boy patient...
Also, dad might want to consider moving his office out of the house, or at least escort his patients out after their sessions and change the locks. Jeez.

Yeah that is kind of ridiculous. You would think he would walk the patients to the door but he just lets them wander around his house instead. lol
