Zelda Wind Waker HD edition Wii U

Well Zelda fans Nintendo announces Wind Waker HD edition Wii U alongside $50 price drop. The game will be available digitally on Sept 20th , retail on Oct 4th. So now I will finally get a Wii U. Gamestop will also include a "Ganondorf" figureine with their copies of the game

Cool figure. I never did play the original Wind Waker, so I may end up playing this one, though probably as a rental. It looks good.

It's a great game, even though the cartoony cell shaded graphics make it look like a kiddie game. It's an awesome adventure worthy of the"Zelda" in it's title.
Now that I seen this Ganon figure, I hope F4F does do a PF statue of it.

I wish Nintendo would do more with these Zelda editions instead of having a simple stencil on a controller or something. It's like that's the least they can do. Even the system is the standard black system. They are including a digital version of Hyrule Historia which every real Zelda fan has the limited imitation leather cover version. And not even including the physical game.

Wind Waker is awesome though. Don't let the graphics fool you.

Wow, I didn't realize that the bundle only includes the digital download of the game. I preordered both the bundle and the Gamestop collectors edition. Just because I want the figure and thought I'll just sell the extra copy of the game. I might just keep it now. I was also hoping that the console had something to make it a Zelda edition.

Yeah, it's kind of a joke. There are a few posts going back and forth on Neogaf about people saying this Wii U Zelda bundle is for Zelda fans. And how it's discount too. But real Zelda fans -

1. Already have the limited version of Hyrule Historia.

2. Will get the packaged version just because. And maybe it will have a gold disc or something. There is mention of a gold detailing.

3. If they are really fanatics might customize their whole Wii U system with a Gold theme or something.

And don't forget First4Figures made some really good Legend of Zelda statues. I don't need that Ganon figure. And I have the poster of the box art from the Zelda Box import I got a while back.

Got my Gamestop edition Wind Waker HD with mini Ganon figure. Even though it's small I love it. Hopefully F4F will make a 1/4 PF. The only thing that bothers me is that the North American edition doesn't come with the clear dome to cover it.
