Yeah. I think the ones with EX or fail portrait tend to have inflated ES size. Gambit and Punisher looks great but honestly they are not core popular characters like Wolverine, Batman etc so I think no matter how great the sculpt is 6000 total ES is way too inflated. I mean even great looking statues of those popular characters takes long time for to sell out when they have that big of a ES.

The EX should be on EBay for a fraction of the price in 5 years when this is still in stock (unless it is cyclically on it fake sellout phase.)

The EX will eventually sell out due to the character's popularity but 4k of the collectors edition. That will be around for a LONG time.

I imagine part of the reason why the ES is so high is because they won't make another Gambit for a very long time. Some of these decisions are probably made on the front end with the understanding/acceptance that they'll stock it for years because they have no plans at all to make a different statue of the character.

This ES was never going to be small. I wouldn’t have expected this big, 4000/2000 is pretty huge. But no way this was going to be less than Magneto’s ES. There’s 3 options for licensed Gambit statues at this scale. One is after market and more limited. The other you need a connect for, it’s fairly limited and it’s still expensive. This is the most likely option for most people for a character that’s still really popular, well liked and wanted.
