I would like to get a more comicbased look + fabric.

This would be the absolutely maximum I could imagine:

Look out for #1. Don't step in #2 either.

Really hoping for a full sculpt myself.

Sideshow did a great job on fabric suits lately, I would trust them 100% to be able to get that right. A could get this pic above easily commissioned but only fully sculpted but I'd prefer cloths. Anyways I hope for more comicinfluences.

Cloth would be terrible. Nothing about his suit is ever a "fabric" even a hypothetical one.

The only thing they could do it on would be his lower skirt and that would just look weird.

I'd make anything of fabric that's blue out of the helmet part. But that's just me.

Yes but only because people are putting characters on thrones that don't need to be , Thanos is definitely a throne character.

Exactly.

I don't think thrones are played out yet. Of the hundreds of 1/4 statues made the only ones worth mentioning are Doom and Mags. Maybe Medusa. There are some unlicensed statues with throne poses but they aren't really tallied. Officially speaking.

And you gotta go fully sculpted. No pajamas for the biggest bad in Marvel.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

To put fabric on a statue like this would be a sin. I immediately think of the awful looking pajama wolv/sabs look...

Fabric would be a mistake. Thanos wouldn't look as formidable as the XM as he shelters from the cold of space in his jammies.
