That is truly heart breaking!!

I came in late to the Kotobukiya ARTFX+ Star Wars line, but even with that I have been able to collect over 40 statues. I mainly concentrate on the OT and PT and it kills me that I will probably never own a General Grievous as the secondary market is asking and getting more than $300 for this piece....

Extremely sad day for me.

Licensors will always retain the final decision on the properties they own and manage. Case in point, the upcoming X-Force Psylocke Bishoujo reproduction (announced during Toy Fair) was canceled at the request of Marvel.

Does Kotobukiya have plans on exploring far into the Batman Animated Series and creating many more ARTFX+ statues?

I've heard that is the case for the X-Men Animated Series (from a Koto rep in a youtube video) and I'm excited to see more (for both series).

Yes please, I'm dying to get the Green Lantern. I have every single other piece (including the 1/6 Supergirl that wasn't technically part of the set) and will be getting Aquaman. Green Lantern is nowhere to be found.
