Rosemary's Baby miniseries
After announcing a Rosemary’s Baby adaptation was in the works more than three months ago, NBC pushed forward with the project this week, ordering a four-hour miniseries based on Ira Levin’s classic 1967 horror novel.
With the series planning to shoot in Paris next month, producers are jump-starting the casting process, but no names are officially attached yet.

I never read the book. Is it much different than the movie? I enjoy the movie a lot!

And how are you going to accurately pull of this remake on television, let alone NBC? I'm sure it's going to be watered down.

Just watched the 1st half On-Demand. I really doubted this effort at 1st, being such a big fan of the original movie, but after watching, I gotta say, it was pretty good. I've never read the book but the mini-series seems to be adding a lot of details not presented in the 1st movie. Some work, some bog down. Still, it's fun. The horror's way toned down. It doesn't feel near as scary as the original, but it's NBC so I get that they had to downshift. 2nd half on tomorrow night.
