How long have you been in the 1/4 scale game?

7 going on 8 years since my 1/4 collecting began..
Here is a post from back in 2005

Back then i gave my 1st 1/4 piece 9/10
Since then and now, i would probably have to downgrade that score to 7.8/10 as the base is rather weak compared to piece's that would follow.

Ritual 1/4 - Yamato (original issue)

Impressive statue. Great looking face. My first 1/4 scale statue.

9/10

Statue weaknesses:
Outfit appears to have become less flexible, pins impossible to re connect.
Plastic sword-blade starting to bend (metal sword-blade would have been great)
Skin is a touch on the light side.
Base paint application could be more impressive.

Other than these minor issues Ritual is an impressive statue.

I am in the 1/4 game since 2019. It has been almost 3 years. Begining with The Joker PF. I have been in the statue, bust game since 2007 though... It is crazy how long it took for me to get in to the 1/4 game.

I also started a little later in my collecting journey to jump into the 1/4 game. I got PCS Vega in May 2019 with SSC Baroness a few days later.

It all started in 2017 while watching The Big Bang Theory. They had the statue in their room and in the toy store.
I thought I'd look on the internet to see what's out there and saw the first Sideshow Red Sonja. WOW.
Then I really found a shop in Germany that had one. At that time I didn't know what exclusive means and was totally surprised that the statue had to be assembled.
It was the regular Sonja but a few months later the exclusive head was offered on ebay
After that came ARH Mermaids, Gallevarbe, Deadmoon, ...

My first 1:4 was the ARH Cleopatra Queen of Egypt in 2010 or 2011. Cannot remember exactly when it came out. I followed it up with several DC PF's from sideshow. Once Tweeterhead announced their 1:6 Super Powers line I sold off all but 6 of my favorite 1:4's. I have purchased 4 more after the sell off to bring my current total to 10 1:4's. 2 of which are customs.

Cleopatra didn't make the cut unfortunately. I was offered enough for her to afford 8 Tweeterheads. LOL
