I thought the dude who played Pike in Discovery would be a great Reed. Anson Mount. He was also in Marvel Inhumans.

I am just excited to see what Disney does with a franchise that has been destroyed. It seems they can resurrect franchises since Spider-Man has vastly improved, but they can also semi-trash franchises (Star Wars).
Oh and the only comic character I have interest in being young is Peter Parker. I think it is core to his character and his growth because it's easy to relate to a kid who has so much pressure on his shoulders and coping with life. X-Men, FF, Avengers, GotG, etc can all be adult casts. I have no interest in their back-stories. Give me them already in place.

Adults, for the FF yes, but I don't think they need to be mid-life adults. It all really depends on the story they want to tell. If they go to do the correct origin for the FF and show Reed in college and then flash forward to his Space endeavor then 30's sounds about right, which then means we're looking for someone Younger than most people here are mentioning.
It also goes to show how special Reed is, having Multiple Doctorates shows his intelligence level is off the charts. Which is why Richard Madden being in the Eternals kinda sucks because I think he could have been a pretty great Reed Richards.

As others love to point out in the Star Wars threads, Kathleen Kennedy is responsible for the direction the Star Wars franchise has taken and she is clearly not Kevin Feige. I trust the new Fantastic Four movie will appeal to most people.

Despite her involvement in the SW franchise (or debacle, as some might point out), she is largely recognized as being one of the most successful producers of the last 50 years. While luck and timing could account for some of her success, it could not account for all of it. However, the SW franchise was likely not a good match for her at this stage of her career.

It looks good so far, i believe the success of the Film eventually depends on if they can pull off a good depiction of Dr. Doom.
