The ending was ok, but Wendy should've gotten a bullet, lol.
The most evil person on the show.

I can handle the tail end of the show with Jonah firing the shot but how TF did Wendy or Marty not die? It was really set up for that and Ruth is the only one who ended up getting the shaft ...

Brilliant show, just an ok ending though.

I'm guessing the writers thought that was too predictable and wanted to subvert expectations a bit.

FINALLY got time with the husband to sit down and finish this series.

I didn't hate how it was wrapped up or the finale. I was sad about Ruth and new she was deadmeat from the second she was the only person wearing white at the fundraiser. At least she went out spitting nails and made peace with it all at the end. I enjoyed the tension of when Marty and Wendy found out what was going to happen and it was refreshing to see Wendy have genuine guilt about Ruth after giving her so much sh!t for so long.

And the Byrdes getting out and being able to continue didn't shock me. In the world where all the evil deeds went unpunished, it seemed very fitting. I would have been more pissed off had Mel ruined the entire thing for them.
