Fantasy players...who does FanDuel here?

I just opened an account for Week 1 of the NFL. It's addicting.

You pick your team based on a salary cap. Cash prizes from 1st to what ever place depending on which contest you join.
Very easy to set up and understand once you're in General.

...don't do it! lol

I did very well Week 1. Last week I pretty much tanked because of the huge amount of unexpected injuries to quite a few studs. But I was pretty much playing with "free" money won during Week 1 so it was no big deal. I actually had fun even when I lost as crazy as it sounds.

If anyone is thinking about signing up, here is my link. The cool thing is once you are in, they have a referral system where you get a (tiny) kickback of the money your referrals wager each week.

https://www.fanduel.com/?invitedby=bokanovich&cnl=da

They are running a promo (I think until the Sunday games kick off), they will match your initial deposit 100% up to $200 which is a great deal. I only signed up for $50 to try it and wish I had done the whole $200. There are tons of promo codes out there if you Google it, I know one is FFML.

I figured if we have a decent amount of people playing here we can talk strategies each week in this thread. You only have $60,000 to spend in your salary cap and the studs like Manning and Calvin Johnson are in the $9k-$10k range, so there is obviously some strategy involved in how you structure your team.

Brutal! I was reading up on the legality of this when I signed up and since Fantasy is considered a game of skill it is not treated the same other types of gambling and therefore is legal. But I guess there are a few states where the law is fuzzy so they don't offer it there. Washington must be one of them. Bummer.

So who ya got?

McCoy and Jordy were my only platinum players. Looking for big games from Joique Bell, Zack Ertz and Reggie Wayne. I took Romo as my QB so that's where I'll lose it. lol

I just have a feeling...

I had a good feeling about Julio last night so I got into some early matches with him. That's paying off so far but there's still a long way to go.

I'm going back and forth on the QBs. I like Brees when he is home but also like Stafford (stacked with Megatron) because I think that GB/Det game might go over 50 points.

I went big on Sproles last week and doing it again this week. For whatever reason, FanDuel still prices him like he's a backup RB when he obviously is much more than that. He's got a ton of good value.
