Why do statue sale descriptions always emphasize no pets? Do statues have allergies? Do they let their birds nest in them? Dogs lick them? I might actually be a little more wary of the owner in that respect lol...

The person buying might have pet allergies. Like open air statues collect dust and smoke residue, they also attract pet dander. It's a good way for a seller to be transparent and responsible in their listing.
