I feel very lucky that my 2 favorite DC female characters are Ivy and Batwoman because Sideshow really nailed both of them.
I made this quick review a few weeks ago without including pictures (yes near Paris we didn't have much sunlight since... oh yeah I remember now... the last summer's heat wave )

Besides, it really makes me feel sad for that gorgeous but soooo underrated statue, that seems to suffer from a big lack of interest and love from the collectors community. Having Batwoman in my house delights me every single day and I genuinely think she deserves so much better.

So finally, don't worry I didn't forget , here are some pictures of this beauty (sorry all my pics were taken with an iphone as I don't have a camera)

Only concern is that the double guns should've been the reg and the grapnel should've been a real grapnel, not a pistol with a hook in it.

Honestly you shouldn't worry about what others get or like for their collection. You are happy with her and that's all that should matter. Saying something is underrated is matter of individual perception.

She is stunning and when the new series starts everybody is gonna wish they had her.

I think she is a great addition to a collection. I really like how bold the red is popping off the black with her hair in particular being striking. Even thought the costume is mostly black I think they do creative work with texture to break up form without it feeling busy. I see her going between Huntress and Batgirl for me.

I'm starting to slowly change my mind about fabric cape, I hated it before but Sideshow made HUGE progress over the years.

I was already happy with my magnificent old Lara Croft PF that have lots of fabric and it suits her very well, more recently were Black Canary with her beautiful jacket , but concerning the cape it has always been a meh for me, for example with Emma Hellfire PF and Scarlet Witch PF . Huntress if we ignore the bleeding issue well adressed by Sideshow CS by the way, was pretty good. Magneto is just amazing, his cape is outstandingly well-built with great materials and it is quite easily poseable.

But we are here in the Batwoman thread and all this text before was an introduction for this statue and specially her cape. As I already said, she is in my top 3 DC pieces and in my previous post, I posted pics of her in my display cabinet with Catwoman Classic and Zatanna. But in the end, I wasn't satisfied because I thought this beautiful piece deserved a much better exposure. So I removed Catwoman and just kept Zatanna with her, I played with her poseable cape to make her more impressive and charismatic and I LOVE the result.
That is Batwoman in all her glory !!!

And I never could have been able doing that with a sculpted cape, so now that makes me reconsider my side in this #capegate.

Disclaimer : The cape isn't as wired and poseable as Magneto's so it doesn't stand like that by itself, it is stuck between an angle of the cabinet and the hair of Zatanna on the other side, as you can see on the following pictures.

Hope you enjoy the pictures as always taken by my Iphone sorry !

I repainted the Batwoman statue and removed the silver lining color. I thought it was too distracting.
