The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

bottom line, if its made of vinyl its a kick ass deal and if it is really made of cold cast porcelian (which i highly doubt) then its a knock off and is still a great deal imho becasue fake or not porcelian is far superior to vinyl.

Question

Hi everyone.

Right does anyone out there actually know what these resin clone troopers are? i only ask cos i'm the sucker that has bought one!!! Now I havent recevied it yet as I have only bought it two days ago and it is shipping from Hong Kong. So as soon as I receive it I will post on here the quality of it. Now I dont belive this is a fake/bootleg and heres my reasoning -

1) Why go through all the trouble of bootleging something and then make it out of resin when the original is vinyl (duh most people will be able to tell the differance!!)

2) Why go through all the hassle of bootlegging something then misspell the name!!!

3) Why bootleg something that is'nt really worth anything to begin with?? Okay the coloured Vinyl are worth money but this clearly aint vinyl!!

So I am guessing that this is probably a store display/promotional item. The one I have purchessed (so there are a few out there) was bought from a Chinese Toy shop (which backs up my tery it was a promotional item) and did not come in a box. Either way once I receive this I will take some pics and really scruntinise it cos I hope that this was actually a bargain. And considerig I only spent $95 all told I'm hoping I cant go wrong!!

Made by a company called Kotosukiya? Or do they sell bootlegs at Star Wars museum exhibits in Japan?

this item is a bootleg recast, the seller makes and sells these several times a week.

1) the bootleg is ceramic not resin. to make money

2) so they dont get sued by Kotobukiya

3) to make money from unsuspecting buyers

you bought a bootleg, if you like it then who cares. The blue vinyl one made by Kotobukiya is worth $350 minimum. The Kotobukiya is vinyl. this bootleg is not, in fact its made out of better materials then vinyl. does it hold any value? no. did you buy this as an investment? i doubt it.

This is so dumb. I once saw a CD player with the brand, "Pensonic," probably to capture the Panasonic-enthusiasts who didn't mind a knock-off!

BIG SIGH.

I wonder which "Canadaian" felt 'welcomeded' enough to bid.
