From what I understand they don't want to make the regular look too worse in comparison. They still want to push sales for them so they won't make the EX's crazy or anything.

That makes sense. Then could just add more to regular and EX. Companies these days need to find a way to bring customers. I read a lot that collectors would buy if this extra, or that extra was added,

But thess are the statements of "armchair collectors", who never had a horse in the race, and no real interest in the piece other than from a window shoppers passing gaze.

You either want a piece or you don't. Talking about what could have been, or what they think it should have been is just pure fantasy and a waste of time.

Often these threads are jammed with forum members going to great lengths to explain why they're NOT interested in buying a piece....and really, who cares? The companies may use it to gauge interest.....maybe, but in the vast majority of cases I doubt it.

Not true. I would have 100 percent bought the new Emma Frost if she didn't have a mixed-media cape, and I'm 90 percent sure I would be on board with the new Psylocke before "portrait gate" ruined everything. Sometimes a weird, shifty eye or bad base can literally change it.

I mean, it's not a 10 dollar figure that I'll get just because I like the card but hate the soft goods cape. We're talking hundreds of dollars, so if something on it isn't right, it's a no go. Someone else will make it better eventually.

Finally got the ex today and I got to say, this is one of the best statues I’ve ever seen. 3 best statues so far this year Aspen, Red Sonja and Rebel terminator. There simply gorgeous.

Yes they are stunning! Love the sculpting on all of them. They are like the SS masters work. Great portraits and body form! Just a masterpiece!
