The pre-order phase on this happen few weeks ago.... only chance is Ebay... Retail was like $950+ and given it's two boxes your looking around $250 shipping. That's if you can find it for retail. I saw a few venders on Ebay selling it for close to retail..

Except for a broken cape this came out pretty awesome, the paint application is pretty much flawless, I didn't see any issues... Hopefully as soon as Iron Studios gets back from vacation I can get a replacement cape, until then I just glued the other one together, luckily it was on the backside so you don't see it in any of the display positions. I have no regrets spending $1k on it... It's got some serious presence to it... I'll probably get the Bane vs Batman one also so I can display them together..

Looks really good, man, congrats and thanks for the pics! And I agree, it has a great presence in person and I love how dynamic it feels.

Superman vs. Doomsday statue display

I bought this one from Brazil too and it is by far the BEST piece in my humble collection. I have managed to use multiple IKEA Detolf glass cabinets to display my statues so far (larger ones on the lowest level and the smaller ones on the upper levels). However, this monster of a diorama needs a special kind of display in terms of dimensions. Does anybody who owns this statue (or who doesn't) have any suggestions as to a good display for this one? I was thinking that it needed to be at least 28"(L) x 22"(H) x 22"(D) to accommodate this one. Possibly bigger, if you are looking for some breathing space..

Any chance IS does a varient release of this like they did of the 1/3 Batman since SS can now distribute?? I read on the SS live chat a mention of Superman v Doomsday. I don't know if they were referring to this or what since I missed the context due to being at work.

Saw this today, so I don't know...

I wonder if there were some unsold or a new release or if SS would carry it, but I hope so.
Does any one have a contact that imports from IS in case SS doesn't carry it? As it is still available from IS.

So SS Alex said they don't have any plans to carry this or any of their previously released pieces, but of course that can always change. So you will need toprocure this in the secondary market. Does anyone have a IS import contact??
