I received the same email. I also responded that I would like the replacement. They could have saved themselves a lot of headache/ bad PR by just telling folks to be patient instead of trying to first offer points (that they still haven't fixed).

My only fear is if I end up with a Tali statue that is worse than the one I have currently. Time will tell...

Never got the points bribe, but I did just get the email the rest of you did. I think I'll take the replacement and see how that works out. The fact that they acknowledge their replacment stock is defective and that they're repainting them gives me hope. I'd also say the fact that they're offering full refunds including shipping means they're no longer going with the "its meant to look like that" story.

Everyone does that, and because plenty of people accept ;p Vocal minority and all, plenty of people probably took it which saved them a lot of $, right or not. SS is doing the same ---- with me now on something that has paint chips all over the face. Offered me credit, I said I'd prefer a replacement, offered me more credit, said I'd still want a replacement and now I'm waiting :P

I'm pretty new to statues, have a few sideshow pieces but when I saw these decided I wanted to go all in, including the sold out items. Hadn't seen this thread, little worried.

I'm not gonna be surprised if they try to send out the old stock and hope that new order people won't notice/complain :P But maybe they'll fix em.

Simple, cancel your order and walk away. You should never have released this abomination in the first place, never mind how they may or may not fix the problem!
