Dunno...but then the lamb and veal protestors would start up...it would be chaos in the butcher department!!!

I'm not surprised by anything anymore when it comes to the idiocy in this world.

People choose what offends them. They usually have someone else choose it for them, who derides them for not being offended as well.

This is how the free world ends. Not with a bang, not with explosions, but because extremists who like to play word games lawyer us to death.

A lot of people on this planet don't give much thought to political correctness. Most people aren't offended. It's that one percent who see profit and job security in stirring the pot so nothing ever gets settled, who make sure that everyone has to tiptoe around each other.

The worst part about the whole political correctness thing, is that keeping up with all the newspeak that comes out to replace all the old stuff that used to be passable.

The things I've seen in my time on this planet and the changes that have been made to what used to be free speech, and freedom of thought would give George Orwell nightmares. Then again, we are living in a cross between 1984, and Brave New World.

Which is pretty sad when you think about it. One of these days, statue collecting, or sculpting fictional characters could land you in prison if this whole political correctness thing keeps rolling downhill.
