Given the long development cycle, these figures had to be in the works pre-COVID. So what do you all think about the summer releases and teases? Is this a good showing or is the lack of new licenses starting to show (this year was going suck for licensable movies anyhow)?
Hot Toys milking that Spider-Man video game for all its worth which isn't a bad thing. It gives them a way to access many suit designs.
The Clone Wars is promising. But I hope they do movie version of Mace Windu and the other Jedi Masters before doing the Clone Wars versions. How far before we see Ahsoka?
I am all for the sculpted hair of WW and BW. WW portrait is the best Gal to date, but it's still lacking something. I have the BvS WW (still boxed), the JL WW and WW training. The training had a decent portrait but the other two are way off.
The Venomized Groot is from Spider-Man: Maximum Venom animated series. Does this mean there are more animated-style Venomized characterize on the way?

15 new figures revealed (ignoring deluxe editions) and only three licenses represented (Marvel, DC and Star Wars). That may be due focusing on the target audience for convention season, but I would like to have seen other licenses new or revealed. There are lines that need to be completed like the Matrix. Hopefully we get more varietry of licensed characters revealed throughout the year.
I hope we do get some more figures from the Fox Marvel movies but not sure how big the demand would be now.
