I didnt think it was so bad after all it is a DCD piece....LOL...it's a great statue depicting a great scene from one of the greatest and important comic stories ever done in history...also looking at this piece and the way its a one piece item I'm surprised there arent more breakages

Mine is paint slop city, with a glue drip that runs the length of Batman's chest armor. The copper accents and rocks are the worst, with Superman's paint apps coming in for a close second. Typical of factory division of labor, the Batman is pretty neatly painted compared to the rest, except for the visible glue. The Superman was broken at both ankles and the wrist when I unboxed. Since I received this from a client as a gift, I'm gonna have to live with all of the faults.

I'm probably going to throw it up on a high shelf till summer, when I'll have adequate time to devote to repainting.

Really wish it would have been only Supes and Bats in Original Colors and Costumes. Really don't like the space suit and base BAD concept!

Is there someone guys who can post a little better quality photos of this statue? I would like to buy it and I am curious about the piece. I saw a video on youtube about this diorama and from there it looked great. I don't get the paint problems on this.

Here it is:

Judging from this video the pain looks good. Is it really that bad in hand?

Also which one is better? Kotobukiya Batman vs Joker or this statue?

I am far from a DCD basher, but the paint apps on mine were horrid. Way worse than any I've seen photos of. As for the Koto piece, I have my issues with that as well. Compared to his upper body, Batman's legs are short and spindly. Looks like a concession to getting pose they desired. The half Joker really doesn't work either, IMO.

I have both, and wouldn't recommend one over the other.

Can you post a few photos about your Sup vs Batman diorama Professor? Thank you for your answer anyway!

Sorry, but I've already started repainting. Superman is partially primed and Batman is sanded on his chest.
