Maybe the licensing expired. Based on what's happened with other Alien- and Predator-related projects, it sounds like the acquisition by Disney has finally settled and the new licensors are very particular.

That would be disappointing. Although I felt that there was a lot wrong with this original design (proportion and pose-wise, stumpy tree-wise), I still felt like the concept had promise as a 1/4 scale Predator using the trees somehow could be a grail, perhaps even more so than the 1/3 Prime 1.
They just missed the mark with the tree stump. He needed the illusion like he was high up in the trees, not hanging onto the side of a stump while Dutch hid in the back.
And if I may add, please make a wall mountable tree just like Prime 1 did with their City Hunter. That would be unbelievably cool and since I'm out of shelf space, I need it on the wall.

The concept of having Dutch in the base was always a neat idea, but everything else was questionable. Never liked Predator's frog legs, the bizarre shape of the tree, or Dutch being hidden in the back.

I just want a 1/4 Predator from the first movie. Having Dutch in it was an added bonus, but yes, it would have been a lot better to place him in sight from the front.

Yes I wish we could get some news from Infinity, I was hanging out for this to go with the City Hunter 1/4 scale. No way I'm paying for the Prime 1 versions.

Came here today asking myself the same question, so do we know anything about this?
Great concept, part of me hopes they were told to go back and re-work this.

They went silent on this ages ago. The feedback wasn't exactly very good in general. I wouldn't be surprised if they shelved it tbh. Although I'd be happier to find out that they were tweaking it, and will reveal the improved statue soon.

The idea of Dutch being part of the base was a brilliant idea. Placing him behind the Predator? Not so much. If they did something similar to Prime 1's big game Jungle Hunter with Arnold below I think that'd be a hit.
