Marvel Trading Cards

Anyone remember these.

I am still getting my comics and comic stuff shipped from my parents place in Canada, to my home in Houston. Along with my comics there was a binder with Marvel cards. It had the complete series from 90 - 92 with holograms, plus a bunch of other comic series cards. Talk about a flashback. I had totally forgotten about these. I have bought individual card sleeve protectors and started to mount them in very large picture frames, so I can display them.

I remember when they were popular, I had X-men ones, and Silver Surfer ones. I think I had Punisher ones also.

Yeah, I've got a few of those sets, (what was I thinking?) and a few of the Jim Lee X-men card sets with the 5 hologram set.

Oof. I still have a bunch of cards in binders from the early-mid 90s. No idea why I was collecting them, unless it was some sort of psychological penance for throwing away all my Star Wars cards from 1977 when I was 14. Sigh.

The cards were cool, though. I'm planning on keeping them in a box in the attic for my grandkids to find in fifty years. They may, by that time, actually be worth what I paid for them.

I wish I had all the money I spent on my Marvel and DC trading cards. I've got all the Marvel Masterpiece cards (w/inserts), Marvel Universe (w/inserts), Marvel Flair (yes w/ inserts), Marvel Ultra (yep), a bunch of DC sets (duh, w/ inserts), yada yada.

Got them all, and then about 20 times more.
Hey, speaking of cards, I'm looking for boxes of Kudos with Star Wars cards on the backs. Need all 3 from the Snickers, and all 3 from chocolate chip.
Thanks!

Does anyone know where I can get some singles of the "Marvel Superheroes First Issue Covers" series? I need about 10 more cards to complete a set.
