Sigh, received my Reptile and unfortunately he's not perfect.
* chip on the leg, which bugs me a lot
* leg doesn't fit the base properly, which makes it a hovering foot
* statue has a bit of a lean
* texture of the feet is different compared to the other 1/3 ninja's. Scorpion & Sub-zero have smooth feet, while Reptile's texture is grainy.
(Packaging is great, 'slime/acid'hands are very nice)
I really don't mind the crazy waiting times, but i just wished they produced every piece properly. I actually feel we over payed for those ninja's.
Would you accept those flaws?

I can't really see the lean. Is it a side lean or a back lean? I think I see some sort of back lean on the last photo.
The chip is annoying, but looks easily fixable with some black paint, as it only seems to be on the black line. Still, that's not to say this is acceptable.
The grain on the feet would bug me, as it's not consistent with the rest of the ninjas.
On top of that, giving the wait times for these products, I would say no it is not worth it at all.
That is why I don't order anything over 1/4 scale, as there are more visible faults to see. Just refuse to set myself up for dissapointment.
Honestly, has there been any single 1:3 product that hasn't had major imperfections ?

Maybe if the feet will go in the base all the way the lean will lessen.

Well i don't think he's leaning, all 3 of them are kinda hunched forward.
The chip would annoy me too, try for a replacement but try get a matching green and just touch it up with paint, you probably won't notice it.
I assumed the texture on the feet was on purpose, i don't know why, if was trying to bull ---- it i'd say "well hes standing on an acid pool and the acid is corroding his boots!" but then why aren't Scoprions all melted form the lava lol.....i don't mind it overall, i don't feel all 3 need to be completely uniform but it is unusual.
Definitely try and get him flat in the base, see if there's anything that needs digging out in the peg hole.

they do lean a bit forward, that is how they were made and is normal
the chip is extremely small and fixable, even with a permanent marker
the hovering foot i would not accept, I would make sure that I can't indeed push it further down but if not replacement

Can anyone that care enough compare Reptile with Scorpion without the base to see if they really are different sizes?
I am interested in a Reptile. I can stand if the base need a riser to get things matched but if they look off otherwise I don't think I could deal. In all of the videos I see Reptile looks noticeably smaller.

The review i posted has video of all 3 of them lined up at the end.
I have measured them up and the difference is like maybe a quarter of an inch or less in the body.....barely noticeable.
On another note he does seem less bulky in the chest also, which honestly looks better.

I had just watched the video and that is what got me to ask.
When you say a quarter of an inch is that without the base?
A quarter of an inch in the bodies is quite a lot.
