Tough Enough (2006) Aka: Knallhart
7.5/10

I stumbled across Tough Enough in a thrift shop while on a DVD / Blu-ray hunt.

Tough Enough feels like a fly on the wall view of a number of characters who inhabit Berlin, Germany,
and their day to day lives. It can make for uncomfortable viewing at times. Throughout the characters were very believable.

For whatever reason, possibly to add to bleakness, the film makers decided to lower the color saturation to the point,
the movie almost looks at times like black & white, resulting in the look of a black & white movie having been colorized.

Heart Eyes - 7/10. Tons of fun. Part gory slasher horror. Part rom-com.

Eraserhead. 6/10

Going back to watch David Lynch movies that I have not seen. This one DEFINITELY feels like Lynch. Some of the imagery is great, especially for 1977. Still, i am not sure the overall movie worked for me - I actually think it could have worked better if it was a 30 minute short. Anyway, on to The Elephant Man...

Eraserhead was a ?what the hell is going on? movie for me when I watched it 30ish years ago. Elephant Man is heavy - very well done but I don?t think I could ever watch it again!

Captain America: Brave New World - 3/10

Uninspiring action scenes. 2nd worst movie in the MCU in my opinion.
