PLEASE do not derail the thread again. This thread is for Sideshow's Mount Rushmore and why Canale is on the verge of being surpassed by other sculptors along with what Canale should do to redeem himself. I can't see the new Weapon-X being a hit if it doesn't have a glass dome and/or an additional head sculpt.

Time to re-think the list of the best sculptors. Our hobby's Mount Rushmore.

Will Godbottle. The GOD of sculpting. The BEST sculptor on this hobby BY FAR. He is untouchable. He is the GOAT. PERIOD. END OF DISCUSSION.

Andy Bergholtz. This hobby needs Andy back. Sideshow should lure him back for her new 1/3 line.

Ryan Peterson. The GOAT of LSBs and a MASTER of hand-sculpting. He is along with Steve Wang and Andy the best LSB sculptor ever.

Maria Panfilova and Raphael Phillips. Maria has the nickname (Forps gave her this nickname) "the divine hand". Her sculpts are so unique and elegant.

Raphael Phillips is the BEST TALENT Sideshow has discovered last 5y. Check an old thread where Forps' eye "smelled" his talent by checking for only 2sec his Batman bust. Whoever inside Sideshow also "smelled" his talent and assigned him additional projects, has a good "eye". A "Forps' eye".

"Wait, Forps. Where is Martin Canale, the master?"

Well, frankly speaking, Martin is not at his peak. His latest sculpts are lacking (eg Batman, Wolverine). His Joker sculpt for the Batman vs Joker diorama was a good one (the Batman of the latest diorama though is a monstrosity). His latest Batman or his latest Wolverine were fails.

Maybe Forps is to be blamed. I adsed Sideshow to pair Canale with "Sideshow's South American sculpting clan" (guys "sculpting" for Sideshow, but lacking sculpting skills due to being only Z-brushers with limited talent in TRUE art, drawing and hand-sculpting in REAL LIFE, with their hands, pencils or clay).

It seems that Canale is getting influenced by their style and his latest sculpts are looking more like CUSTOM ONES.

I can also see that him going FULL Z-BRUSH is not doing his talent favr, Canale is, first and foremost, a master in hand-sculpting. If i were him, i would try to incorporate some hand-sculpting elements in his sculpts.

Maria Panfilova or Raphael Phillips can soon take Canale's place in Mount Rushmore.

Harbottle, Bergholtz and Peterson are UNTOUCHABLE. Canale MUST give us 2-3 MASTERPIECES to redeem his status. His upcoming Weapon-X MUST, i repeat, MUST be a masterpiece.

If not, he should then try to isolate from his fellow South American Z-brushers and concentrate on his talent and his way of sculpting. It is obvious that his style is getting influenced in a bad way.

Ohhhhh and apart from Steve Lord (check my post above), i must also CONGRATULATE Steve Schumacher.

I admire him for 1 reason. The guy is CONSTANTLY improving. He maybe not the best sculptor or the most talented but anyone with art knowledge or a good eye can EASILY discern that Schumacher is constantly improving at his craft. BRAVO, Steves (Lord and Schumacher)!

So.....

Godbottle, GodBergholtz, GodPeterson with GodPanfilova and GodPhillips upcoming. Canale is struggling and he must give us 2-3 masterpieces and also isolate himself from "Sideshow's South American sculpting clan", their style (a style that oozes strong CUSTOM vibes) does not suit Canale, a more traditional sculptor sculpting, at least in the past, the famous "Sideshow's way".

Schumacher and Lord are also up there, Newman is a GOAT in female sculpts, Kucharek Bros had their misses but they remain good.

Phillips though is the best talent Sideshow brought in. I want to see more projects by him. His Wolverine 1/3 is the best Wolverine sculpt ever! Phillips along with Panfilova should work with Godbottle as their mentor.

As for Godbottle, well, the guy can't miss. Female sculpts, male sculpts, movie pieces, comic pieces, random pieces, just from his imagination. Masterpieces. He is like the Bernini of our era.

PERIOD. END OF DISCUSSION.

The list is now amended.

Well, now i remembered Andy Bergholtz, one of the GOATs.

Sideshow, where the f..k is Andy?

Bring him back for your new 1/3 line. The quintessential line of our pop culture characters in statue form.

The moment Sideshow announces her 1/3 line-up sculpted by the GOATs Forps is going to faint

Harbottle, Bergholtz, Canale, Peterson, Panfilova, Phillips, Schumacher, Lord, Newman.

1/3 Harley by Harbottle.
1/3 Hulk by Bergholtz.
1/3 Joker by Canale (Canale's OG 1/4 Joker is still the best Joker ever)
1/3 Penguin by Panfilova
1/3 Batman by Phillips

Schumacher, Lord, Newman also GOATing.

And a new LSB line sculpted only by

Peterson and Bergholtz, the LSB GOAT sculptors.

Bring Andy back, Sideshow for your new 1/3 line.

Stop playing around

Hell, NO!!!

The list is set in stone with Harbottle, Bergholtz, Panfilova, Phillips, Canale, Peterson being on the top (with Panfilova and Phillips the 2 best talents Sideshow has ever recruited) followed by Newman, Schumacher and Lord.

And yes, you DON'T see D.B., he is probably @ ~20-25th place.

I simply want Bergholtz back. To sculpt for Sideshow's new 1/3 line.

On a side note, the GOAT just GOATed. He silenced MSG.

Scoring, passing the ball, rebounding. His basketball IQ is off the charts, surely the HIGHEST BASKETBALL IQ of all time (even Skip Bayless, his biggest hater acknowledges this).

No1 in points, top3 in assists, top20 in rebounds when all is said and done.

Compared to a GLORIFIED VOLUME SHOOTER, a poors man Anthony Edwards. Anthony Edwards would be 10x better than MJ if he played against plumbers, bouncers and carpenters back in the day.

As KD said yesterday, these old players from the '90s could not compete nowadays. The league had so many plumbers and scrubs back then, it is ridiculous. The amount of talent nowadays is insane having eg centers the likes of Myles Turner shooting >40% from the 3.

GOAT doing GOAT things once again

Lebron is the ULTIMATE basketball player. He is the GOAT. Deep inside you, you all know it but hate it to admit it.

(the hate towards Lebron is 100% correlated to politics. Whoever hates Lebron is also....you know. It is getting insane at this point)

You are probably idolizing the players you watched while young (you are probably in your mid-40s) and you SURELY never hooped in your life or ever had any basketball training. You and clueless guys the likes of Steph A Smith or older players who would be playing in the G League nowadays are the only ones thinking that old players could compete in today's league (fast-paced, 3point-centered, extremely talented with talents from all over the world etc).

NBA games during the 90's is a borefest. Untalented guys not being able to shoot, plumbers, bouncers and carpenters, guys having sidejobs (majority of them as bouncers), the pace was soooooooooo slow you could fall asleep.

KD is right, oldheads and old players have created a laughable narrative. With the exception of Shaq, i cant see ANY 90's player (yes, Jordan included) being in the top 5 nowadays. They were untalented, slow, inefficient etc.

90s players laughed when shown footage of 60s games.

Old heads back then though said "Well, the 60s guys were better".

You are STUCK in the past. WAKE UP.

Wait, WHAT?????????????????

Luka is traded to Lakers for AD?

Is this a joke? Luka is more injury-prone than AD and he is not a good match for Lebron. What happened here?

This is the WEIRDEST trade in NBA history.
