I don't really collect TLW due to space and funds, but this piece is just too good really.. and with an ECC TLW Buck Rex on the horizon, I feel the pair will be just too badass and cool to pass on.

Well, damn, I might need to unload my Female for a profit while I can, then.

I'm having a hard time seeing any sold listings on eBay for this besides one from Japan that ended at $700 + shipping.
There are a few open listings for close to $3K, but is she selling for that amount?

Any chance you've heard any rumors about an ECC Dilo? I'd love it if they resurrected the CC Dilo maquette, or made a 1/1 bust w/o the frill.

Last month on the eBay sold items & completed listings there were two sold for around $2,500.
That auction for $787 + $500 shipping is indeed an insane deal, but it ended shortly after Trump was shot and the entire internet was chaos so maybe that contributed.

I would too focus on ECC at this point, even selling other stuff if necessary. No info on Dilo, sorry.
On the Buck, there's a chance it could be even years from now theoretically. I personally wouldn't sell the female, nor pass on this flawless and definitive gigantic Raptor.

A thing of beauty, this is.

Whenever we get it, I just hope it's 1/12. And preferably not the design maquette pose with the leg raised super high, that always looked awkward to me. This TLW raptor bodes well in that it shows ECC is willing to come up with their own poses.

It's unfortunate I didn't see that T-Rex maquette that went for $787. I would've bid on that for sure. There was one for sale on Instagram a while back for $1800 that I was extremely tempted to pull the trigger on. I was just waiting for some interest from an account to come due but it sold in the meantime.

Yes! I'm glad I'm not the only one. I remember even back when TLW came out and artwork of the Buck maquette was present on some merchandise. I always thought it looked a bit odd the way the leg was raised high and straight off of the ground. To me, it doesn't look natural at all.

Man, those as some truly incredible photos, portraying a truly incredible piece.
Home run from ECC.

Same, I too hope for an original ECC pose for the Buck. And 1:12 as well.

I always thought that pose was meant to kinda pay homage to one of those Crash artworks that convinced Spielberg to go with SWS.
But yeah, I wouldn't want a Buck looking like that. Also because there's already the Dino Dream piece covering that pose in statue form.
And chances of that happening are slim anyway I think, also because the ECC model is not going to be sourced from the 1:16 maquette.

Interesting indeed...
Do you have a Steve Harvey GIF response to the question of whether we'll see a Spino maquette?
