The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Don't watch it. Trust me you're not missing much. My son wanted to see it. That's the only reason I went. It was terrible in my opinion. Joaquin Phoenix should definitely win the Oscar though. The movie definitely didn't suck because of him. He put on an acting clinic. Even with him being so good in it I still found it horrible. But I'm cheering for Phoenix to get that Oscar. He was robbed for supporting actor for Gladiator. They owe him.

Great movie. Not one you can watch multiple times though.

Once Todd Philips said he liked the theory that Joaquin's Phoenix's character was "a" Joker and not "the" Joker, that the person who would eventually face Batman was inspired by the events in the film, it made it more believable to me as an Elseworlds story.

Not every movie is for everyone but I think it's safe to say that your opinion is extremely bias as it seems you wanted more of a comic book version of Joker...

I saw it 4x in theaters and loved it each time. I still prefer Ledger’s Joker and I saw TDK 8x in theaters.

But yeah, I loved Joker. Not sure it deserves best picture (I have to watch some of the other best picture nominations still), but I do hope Phoenix wins best actor.

Congrats!

I watched the film at the cinema, and it takes a lot to drag me to the cinema these days (i go to the cinema about once every two years).
Sure Joke made for grim viewing. The picture, the audio, Joaquin Phoenix performance, all added up to something special.

The Bluray drops today in the UK. Now that i know about Joker, i need to see it some more.
