I'd probably give that a 3.5 or 4. Definitely enjoyed that more than this.

Hobbit Trilogy (Extended Edition in 3D) 8.5/10

once I got over how stupid some of the dwarves looked, and how stupid Radagast looked, the shoe-horned elf/dwarf romance, the overuse of CG for orcs and goblins instead of makeup, and how I personally think Thorin was miscast, there is actually a lot to like in these movies

It was great seeing Gandalf the grey again, Bilbo was awesome, Thranduil was awesome, I liked all the stuff with the 'necromancer' and elrond/galadriel/saruman and the nazgul, smaug was awesome too

and the 3D was some of the very best i've ever seen. Its worth it just getting to visit middle earth again, the scenary and landscape shots were breathtaking as to be expected

its odd that no 3D version of the extended edition was released in north america, I had to get an overseas release which was region free and worked on my PS4
