Is this piece really only 9.75" total or is that just the figure? Previews listed it as 1:8 scale, making the height seem awful small when factoring in the base (and the price. Holy sh!t.)

Dunno about the height, but Previews World sez that the hat is magnetic so you can pose it different ways.

A magnet inside HQ's head would explain a lot.
