I think it could be at 5th all time in a week. The big question is legs after that. Avatar was so steady, a 76 million opening weekend, but still bringing in money 8 weeks at #1 spot.
Assuming Endgame steamrolls all of May it just might have a shot.

I remember in 2012 when Avengers doing 200 million domestically seemed impossible.

Went in today to check for tickets for this upcoming weekend, and at my theatre as of Monday late morning, almost everything was completely sold out all weekend. The only showings that had decent seats were the super late 9:45pm showings (9:45 is late when it's a three hour long movie ).

Really? Over here in the uk, my locals have showings up to midnight with even the 11pm showings being 75percent booked up.

It's almost exactly $100M more than what Infinity War made in its domestic opening weekend. Very curious to see how it does during this week and next weekend.

I know Hollywood accounting is a bit fuzzy, but the idea of anyone suggesting this could be a flop is laughable. If Endgame is not a success then the whole industry needs to close up shop. Instead super hero movies are being cranked out all over and the MCU already has a good 5 to 10 years of roughly 10-20 movies coming.
