I see no issue with the base.
The black block he is attached to (to give him air) a solid lump of clear plastic would have been better, although more difficult to engineer.

I have problems with the NBA + Logo. I just don't think it looks good placed there. And so big too...

Yeah - that's a huge blunder. Not sure what the licensing restrictions may or may not be, but none of the accessories, or jersey for that matter, match.

I really want a Michael Jordan statue, but this seems lackluster to me. Maybe different angles will change my opinion, but is he going in for dunk or a layup? If this was just a silhouette, would you automatically think Jordan? Don?t know that I would. The pose gives no credence or air to his signature ?hangtime? moments. There are so many iconic snapshots that could be used to statue a Jordan dunk or ?flight time.? The closest this statue comes to is Jordan?s baseline dunk on the Knicks.

The base is boring. Have him springing from six O?Brien trophies, or six rings. Ok, that sounds crazy, but something better than this. Stencil his noted stats and basketball achievements on the base. Something, at the very least, that accentuates the figure being presented. The only reasoning I can see for the current base is if future player statues will have the same type base for a consistent look.

I applaud PCS for potentially doing a NBA statue series, but a ?generic? pose for one of the greatest athletes ever is underwhelming.
