These don't look too bad.

Any "collectibles" at GameStop will eventually be clearanced. I was surprised to find the F4F Solid Snake SD was selling for $20 there.

Hmm. I was out due to most pvc figures (especially at this price) don't look good in person. I have to say these pics look good and are a whole lot better than the renders (especially cobra commander). Do you have any frontal pictures? Mainly want to see the face of Stormshadow. The others having helmets are not as important as you can see how that will look.

As for the 1/4 line that's not for me as I just don't have the room for it but get why people would be frustrated if they had started collecting that line. As collectors we do need to realize that businesses are in business to make money though. If sales aren't there then the line goes away. I personally think the best thing collectors can do is let manufacturers know what changes they would like in items before they are made and hope they get implemented. Throwing a huge fit doesn't help and will just make manufacturers not look on these sights for ideas or thoughts (many already have left). Ideally it would be nice if maybe we got a render of what they are looking to do, we make our thoughts known, then they do their test model with the changes recommended.
Ant seams to be one of the few that is trying to work with the collector community so don't want to just start up the bus. Its an easy trap to fall into and have been overly critical myself on some items. Lets make this a productive relationship for both sides.

You makes some good points. I totally understand collectors being disappointed. Heck I love my PCS Stromshadow! I'm bummed the line looks like its dying. But here's my take on GI Joe in the future. It's just not gonna happen at 1/4th or above. All collectors want 1/4th until they have to pay for it. I still say GI Joe in 1/6th maybe 1/5th would be perfect!

I am actually happy with this size as GI Joe is a secondary collection for me and am running out of room. I just question the pvc part but the pics on here look good. Want to see more as the pics ant posted are making me reconsider. Also a nice price point. If I get these I hope they do more. Would really like destro, major blood, baroness, serpentor, a few joes, etc. Would also like a nice rendition of the rattler but now I am getting to far ahead

The GameStop demographic won't support the line, so I don't expect this to go beyond a wave 2. Post on YoJoe or something. This license is weaker than it appears. Fans are more attached to talking/buying/selling their vintage toys than with any other 80s property.

Yes remember was posted on this forum when F4F gave up their G I Joe license with just 1 statue that Joe collectors love their toys and won't get statues. Also so do TF collectors, although they do get sttaue more than Joe fans

I magine no company going to get G I Joe again in large scale. IS could do a 1/10

from what I have seen is there are statue collectors and toy collectors. People are not usually both....I am one of those odd ducks that does do both but am picky on both fronts.

yes IS 1/10 would have been the ideal perfect ones for me, but may settle for these. will decide once we get more pictures.

These lines they literally make 1000s of and constantly produce them and supply them, F4Fs Link from BOTW has sold 1000s and 1000s and 1000s and they continue to produce them...PVC lines this can make the money to support the company in making polystone pieces.

Also the amount of people these pieces brings into the line is staggering, the majority of people who buy F4F statues buy their PVC and nothing else, however you feel what the majority of us buy here is a complete niche and companies need to make money in other ways to continue.

1/10 scale is perfect for GI Joe statues as there are A LOT of characters and to truly have the funds and space to create a nice dio, they need to be pretty small.
