I've seen Jaws dozens of times. We bought the bluray tonight and watched it. Amazing picture, no question. When you do watch this, I noticed something ive never seen before. When the Orca gets attacked at night, after they sing/booze, and Brody goes on deck, there are 2 shooting stars. Never saw those, maybe an update for the bluray release? Need to rewatch with commentary, maybe there's an explanation there.

Pretty sure the shooting stars were there before.
I think the shooting stars are one of Spielberg's trait.

Yep, they were always there. Look for them in most Spielberg films.
