I am so happy that XM took the time to listen to customers/fans about the McFarlane portrait. If they hadn't made that change back to the proto standards, this piece could have really had a "what could have been...." feeling for collectors (ala Jean/Phoenix).
Instead, due to their willingness to step back and look at the piece and not just think we were being critical just to be critical about something, this Venom is perfection. Beautiful representation of the character.
Kudos XM crew. I hope that type of willingness to listen to honest, real concerns never fades.

I would too. Elektra was just so uninspiring from concept to completion. I don't get any kind of dangerous assassin vibe from her at all. Like you said...it looks like she is dancing.
The paints, base and straight hair portrait came out fine...but everything else I didn't care for. Don't like her shoes as well.

I was so distracted by the other parts of the statue that were a fail that I didn't even notice the shoes lol. I'll have to take a look
